Privacy information for customers/suppliers

On May 25th 2018 the new EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) concerning data protection became effective,Colpack srl therefore wishes to inform about how personal data are processed.

Colpack s.r.l. is responsible for data processing, collects and processes personal contact data of customers and suppliers given at the time of the establishment of the business relationship. All personal data are processed according to the applicable regulating law.

  1. Method of collection and usage of personal data

    In general, contact data such as address, email address and phone number ,and information such as job position, are filed and made available for Colpack s.r.l. should the need arise.

    Personal data are processed if and as long as the applicable law indicates legal allowance to do so, that is:

    1. necessity for carrying out the agreed contract ;
    2. necessity for fulfilling a legal obligation.
  2. How we process personal data

    Personal data are stored in databases managed by Colpack s.r.l. and hard copies are available as well. In both cases personal data are managed and processed in conformity to the protection data standards required by the applicable laws.

    Personal data will not be divulged, transmitted, supplied, given over to third parties or transferred abroad, except specific cases provided by law.

  3. Data Storage

    Data will be filed for a period of time no longer than necessary and in conformity with our data storage policy.

    Personal data will only be kept in storage for the required time to fulfil the purpose for which they have been collected and processed, including fulfilling legal obligations, regulatory, administrative or information purposes.

  4. Rights of the interested party

    The interested party ,as individual, may exercise the following rights, under specific circumstances and in relation with the stored personal data:

    1. require access to personal data (a.k.a. Request of access by the interested party) and require specific information about their processing methods;
    2. require amendments to personal data;
    3. require cancellation of personal data;
    4. require limitation to processing of personal data;
    5. object to processing of personal data;
    6. file a complaint to the guarantor Authority.
